I have been a missionary and a church planter in Albania for many years and we have at the moment a church that could pass for an international church because of the mixture of races and countries of the members, but we want to plant a church that is not very far from what these new African immigrants are used to, to be able to encourage them to come to church. In the past 4 years, Albania as a Nation is opening up to foreigners with job opportunities and tourism is increasing the number of foreigners especially Africans. We see a need to plant a church that will take care of the spiritual needs of these foreigners as they are part of the Albanian communities. We can organize outreach programs to bring them to church and also create an awareness that there is a church tailored for their needs. There is a huge African community outside Tirana and there will also be a need for church planting in those cities.

The local church serve a crucial role in providing spiritual guidance, community support, and social services to the Christian population in the country. As a minority religion in Albania, Christians often face challenges in practicing their faith openly, making the presence of churches vital for maintaining their religious identity and fostering a sense of belonging. These churches not only offer a space for worship and prayer but also serve as centers for education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid, particularly in remote and marginalized areas where government resources may be limited. Furthermore, Christian churches promote interfaith dialogue and understanding, contributing to the overall diversity and harmony of Albania's religious landscape. In a nation marked by religious plurality, the existence of Christian churches underscores the importance of tolerance, acceptance, and freedom of religion for all citizens.
