Church Planter: Mustafa Isufi

Mustafa Isufi first heard about Christ in 1991 through missionaries who visited his village, a moment that planted a seed of faith that would shape his life. He later pursued theological studies through the INK Institute (ICI) and went on to complete a second theological degree from the European Nazarene College in 2018, further preparing him for ministry. In March 2026, he began a new ministry alongside a small group of believers committed to establishing a church and building a strong spiritual community in their area. With a passion for sharing the Gospel, he is working to reach the people of Pogradec and surrounding villages with the hope of Christ. Support for this church plant will help provide rent assistance, utilities, internet access, and other essential ministry expenses, as well as fund evangelistic outreach and discipleship efforts throughout the region.

Country Information:

Albania is predominantly a muslim nation. Christian church comprise only about 20% of the nations religions.  The local church serve a crucial role in providing spiritual guidance, community support, and social services to the Christian population in the country. As a minority religion in Albania, Christians often face challenges in practicing their faith openly, making the presence of churches vital for maintaining their religious identity and fostering a sense of belonging. These churches not only offer a space for worship and prayer but also serve as centers for education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid, particularly in remote and marginalized areas where government resources may be limited. Furthermore, Christian churches promote interfaith dialogue and understanding, contributing to the overall diversity and harmony of Albania's religious landscape. In a nation marked by religious plurality, the existence of Christian churches underscores the importance of tolerance, acceptance, and freedom of religion for all citizens.
