Mansali was born Buddhist. She came to know Jesus at 16 years old and has been following Him every since. She is married with 2 children. She has a passion for serving the Lord and desires to see the people of the small Himalaya village hear the word of God. She can see that the Harvest is large but the laborers are few and felt the call of God to plant a church in this remote area of Nepal. Your support will enable Mansali to spread the gospel to the furthest reaches of the globe.
Country Information:
Christian churches in Nepal serve a crucial role in providing spiritual guidance, community support, and social services to the Christian population in the country. As a minority religion in Nepal (less than 1.5%), Christians often face challenges in practicing their faith openly, making the presence of churches vital for maintaining their religious identity and fostering a sense of belonging. These churches not only offer a space for worship and prayer but also serve as centers for education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid, particularly in remote and marginalized areas where government resources may be limited. Furthermore, Christian churches promote interfaith dialogue and understanding, contributing to the overall diversity and harmony of Nepal's religious landscape. In a nation marked by religious plurality, the existence of Christian churches underscores the importance of tolerance, acceptance, and freedom of religion for all citizens.
