Church Planter: Prem kumari musahar
Prem Kumari Musahar came to her faith in Jesus Christ in 2016 after being raised as a Hindu. After completing her ministry training, God gave Prem a vision and passion to serve among the Musahar tribes and share the Gospel with those who have had little opportunity to hear it. Prem is planting this new church to reach people with the Gospel, win souls, and make disciples as more people are becoming interested in following Jesus. Through this ministry, Prem hopes to see lives transformed by Christ and a growing community of believers established among the Musahar people.
Country Information:
Christian churches in Nepal serve a crucial role in providing spiritual guidance, community support, and social services to the Christian population in the country. As a minority religion in Nepal (less than 1.5%), Christians often face challenges in practicing their faith openly, making the presence of churches vital for maintaining their religious identity and fostering a sense of belonging. These churches not only offer a space for worship and prayer but also serve as centers for education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid, particularly in remote and marginalized areas where government resources may be limited. Furthermore, Christian churches promote interfaith dialogue and understanding, contributing to the overall diversity and harmony of Nepal's religious landscape. In a nation marked by religious plurality, the existence of Christian churches underscores the importance of tolerance, acceptance, and freedom of religion for all citizens.
