Ramesh was born into a Hindu family. He worshipped many gods until he heard the gospeal preached about Jesus. He accepted Jesus as his one and only Lord and Savior. He is married and has 1 daughter. Today Ramesh is serving the Lord in the remote areas of Nepal after completing Bible school training. He has been called of God to plant a church in the village of Chitin to minister to the Oraja tribes. Please consider helping Ramesh to fund his church plant that will provide for his needs there as he ministers to these remote people who do not know Jesus.
Country Information:
Christian churches in Nepal serve a crucial role in providing spiritual guidance, community support, and social services to the Christian population in the country. As a minority religion in Nepal (less than 1.5%), Christians often face challenges in practicing their faith openly, making the presence of churches vital for maintaining their religious identity and fostering a sense of belonging. These churches not only offer a space for worship and prayer but also serve as centers for education, healthcare, and humanitarian aid, particularly in remote and marginalized areas where government resources may be limited. Furthermore, Christian churches promote interfaith dialogue and understanding, contributing to the overall diversity and harmony of Nepal's religious landscape. In a nation marked by religious plurality, the existence of Christian churches underscores the importance of tolerance, acceptance, and freedom of religion for all citizens.
