Kali was born into the Badi tribes of Belchor village in far west Nepal. These tribes operate in the sex trade industry in order to survive. Her parents were so desperate they went to India to get work to feed their children but unfortunately succumbed to alcoholism and could not care for her. Kali was brought to the Hope House in Nepal for safety and education. 

The Kawasoti Hope House is located 8 hours outside the capital city of Kathmandu in Kawasoti, Nepal.  Education in this orphanage is taught by the directors themselves as transportation costs are too great to send the children to government funded schools. The children here are receiving food, clothing, shelter, education, access to healthcare and of course love. Your sponsorship is making a difference in her life and providing her a future full of hope.
