One of the greatest opportunities we have as Christians is to partner together in ministry. Our mission tolove God, love others, and serve the world, is not just a calling on us as a church, but as individuals tostep into obedience by finding ways to bless others; so that they might receive and preach the gospel ofChrist!  Not long ago I was introduced to an amazing organization named Expect Hope who is currently working inthe nation of Mexico with some of the most at risk children in the country. By partnering with ExpectHope, All Nations Church will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on an entire community ofchildren in need, not only by teaching them about Jesus, but supplying their need for food, clothing,shelter, access to health care and love.  Expect Hope allows us the chance, through generosity, to take care of those who are closest to the heartof the Lord, the widowed and orphaned. This will open up paths so that we might make the trip ourselves,to look in the eyes of the children whom we are protecting through our obedience in prayer and giving.

Journey Church Friends and Family, We are overwhelmed with joy because of the way you answered the call on our first Rescue Sunday! Your participation is essential as we partner with Expect Hope to rescue children in The Philippines. It is now our mission as a church to become a beacon of light for these children and this community. This mission doesn't stop with sponsorship as we have already started working on a group missions trip to The Philippines. This could give you an opportunity meet your sponsored child. Dear Church Family,   One of the greatest opportunities we have as Christians is to partner together in ministry. Our mission to love God, love others, and serve the world, is not just a calling on us as a church, but as individuals to step into obedience by finding ways to bless others; so that they might receive and preach the gospel of Christ!   The Bible tells us in James 1:27 “Pure and undefiled religion before God the father is this; to look after the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” This is a very clear call for us to be involved with the safe keeping of orphans and widows. Whether that be through our own works, through partnership or both!   It’s no secret that over the past several years Mexico has had many challenging issues specifically due to the organized crime, corruption and migration of refugees from all over Central and South America. This has created a breeding ground for injustice against children. Everyday there are tens of thousands of children who are subject to human trafficking, gang slavery, extreme poverty, abandonment and risk of death.   For many years we have been blessed to have relationship with an amazing organization named Expect Hope who is currently working in the nation of Mexico with some of the most at risk children in the country. By partnering with Expect Hope, Harvest Church will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on an entire community of children in need, not only by teaching them about Jesus, but supplying their need for food, clothing, shelter, access to health care and love.   Expect Hope allows us the chance, through generosity, to take care of those who are closest to the heart of the Lord, the widowed and orphaned. This will open up paths so that we might make the trip ourselves, to look in the eyes of the children whom we are protecting through our obedience in prayer and giving.   I invite you to join me for a special day we are calling Rescue Sunday on Sept 15, 2024.   Every child deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and loved, especially on their birthday. This month, we invite you to join us in bringing joy to the children in our care across Nepal, Albania, the Philippines, and Mexico. Many of these children have been rescued from life on the streets, and in many cases, their exact birthdates are unknown. Because of this, we come together each year to host a joyful, unforgettable birthday celebration at every one of our centers. These celebrations are more than just a party, they are a moment of belonging, dignity, and happiness. Each child will receive a special birthday meal, a thoughtful gift, and, of course, a birthday cake to share with their friends. Whether or not you sponsor a child, you can still be part of making this day truly special. Your support helps create lasting memories for children who deserve to be celebrated.
